Pumped Up Kicks

It's always nice to approach fashion in a way that favors not only style but also comfort. What better way to achieve this than a pair of chic sneakers? I've rounded up a collection that are easy for everyday wear but each have a little special something.

Melrose Ave

Urban Outfitters Peplum Tee and Army Jacket, Topshop Skirt, Tiffany & Co. Locket, Handmade Rings, Kork-Ease Wedges

This Saturday my friend Natalie and I took a trip to Melrose Avenue. Of course, a photo op in front of the bright pink Paul Smith store was a must! Here are the other highlights:

My new favorite store; The Reformation.

Taking the Coco Jumper for a spin.

Money grows on shoes at Decades.

Chocolate strawberry perfection at Sweet Lady Jane.

Mod About You

Clockwise From Top: Clare Vivier Clutch, Friends & Associates Tank Top, ASOS Dress, Marais USA Flats, American Apparel Scarf, Urban Outfitters Sunglasses

AnnaSophia Robb's editorial in the February issue of Teen Vogue is my favorite spread to date. I'm a huge fan of Marc Jacobs, and the story featured a lot of graphic pieces from both the Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs Spring 2013 collections. Not to mention the strong 1960s-influenced makeup, which had me head over heels. The fabulous photos inspired me to pull together a collage of black and white graphic clothes and accessories!

Studs and Stripes

American Apparel Sweater, Urban Outfitters Vest, Madewell Pants, Ray Ban Sunglasses, Dogeared Wishbone Necklace, Ariel Gordon Love Knot Ring, Marais USA Booties

Over time my style has grown to be quite feminine, but it's always fun to break out pieces from my tomboy phase in middle school. My old slouchy striped sweater and studded denim vest had me feeling like I'd traveled back in time. However, I never would've thought to pair the two pieces together. Chanel's Black Pearl nail polish also added some edge to the look. What else can I say? Studs and stripes forever!

Gold Standard

A lot of my beauty must-haves are coincidentally made with gold packaging. And rightfully so, since they're all incredible products!
I'm obsessed with Nuxe's Huile Prodigieuse, which is a delightfully smelling body and hair oil. Ines de la Fressange mentioned it in her book, Parisian Chic, so it makes me happy to feel un peu Française when I put it on.
Second, L'Occitane's Pure Shea Butter is great, especially during the winter. It does wonders for my dry elbows!
The last three products are more makeup-related. Dr. Hauschka's Pure Care Cover Stick is my go-to concealer. I've been a fan of their skincare for years. Next, Shu Umera's Gold Eyelash Curler is simply the best. Truly nothing compares! And finally, Epicuren Lip Balm is über moisturizing and has a great tea tree oil smell.

J.Crew Cashmere Sweater, American Apparel Corduroy Skirt, Tiffany & Co. Locket, CC Skye Bracelet, Handmade Chain Bracelet, Del Toro Shoes

The idea of monochromatic dressing has been on my mind lately. I've done the all black ensemble several times and I wanted to try something new. So why not head to toe camel? I paired a textured cashmere sweater with a matching corduroy circle skirt, and finished off the look with my favorite leopard smoking slippers.
