I'm usually a minimalist when it comes to manicures but lately I've been wanting something more adventurous. Polka dot nails seem to be all the rage right now so I decided to try them out. Here's how to get the look...
What you'll need: base coat, top coat, two nail polishes, and toothpicks. I used Deborah Lippmann's Hard Rock as both base and top coat, Sephora by OPI's What's A Tire, Jack?, and Essie's Marshmallow.
Paint on the base coat.
Use the first nail polish as a base and paint on two coats to make it opaque. Let it dry well.
Use a toothpick and coat it with the second nail polish. Carefully use this to create small polka dots on each nail.
Finish it off with top coat, and voilĂ ! Polka dotted nails made easy.
