I don't really have much to say here, there isn't that much going on for me right now. I hope everyone is enjoying the weather, it's been so perfect this week. And no, I'm not being sarcastic. I love the gloomy, windy, grey, rainy weather. It's the best. My next sewing project is a faux fur vest, can't wait to post photos when I finish. Happy Wednesday! xo

Lazy Day

You know those days when you are totally unproductive, and don't feel like doing anything absolutely at all? Today was one of those days. It was nice though, lounging on the couch watching 500 Days of Summer and The Blind Side with my sister, drinking tea and eating pomegranate, and painting my nails. I didn't go out of the house once, and stayed in sweats and a comfy sweater all day. Sophie and I decided to whip out the camera, and took some silly pictures, which we do a lot when we're bored. It was a nice day, and I can't wait to end it with the carton of Phish Food ice cream in my freezer.

This morning my friend Mia and I took a ring making class at Semi Precious on Montana. It was so much fun and we both really enjoyed it! I would really like to get more into jewelry making, and hopefully become much more advanced at it. I made the three rings in the first picture, and Mia made the three in the second. Which one do you like the best?

I finally finished this skirt. It's inspired by a Valentino dress that I fell in love with since the moment I saw it. It is made of a wool gaberdine, has a light grey rayon lining, and it has an invisible zipper on the right side. I am definitely going to wear it all the time, and I love it so much!
